Rick – Founder and President

Hello, my name is Rick McFadden.  And, I love enhancing homes.  After a stint as an artillery officer in the Marine Corps, I went to the University of Illinois for a Masters in Business Administration.  Then, I spent two decades running departments for companies including Borg-Warner, KForce, Pulte, Zions Bancorp, and Chase.  The last fifteen years were spent running residential mortgage processing departments.  During this time, I learned that homes are one of the most important things to everyone, just as it is for me. 

For ten years prior to opening Enhance, I provided handyman services part-time on the weekend.  Enhancing people’s homes is something that I enjoyed.  Then one day, the light bulb went on.  I thought, “I enjoy fixing stuff, so why am I not doing this all the time?”

So in January of 2018, Enhance opened for business so that I could do what I love on a full-time basis.  And the “what I love” is to show-up on time, do excellent work, and leave the work area clean so that you have a more enhanced, comfortable home to enjoy!

Well, here we are. Over 1,300 families served, multiple vehicles, a boat load of tools, and a team of great people that share my passion. America is truly a place to pursue happiness.

Meet the Team

Nick - General Manager

Nick – General Manager

Responsibilities: Ensure the team arrives on time, does excellent work, leaves the work area clean, and 100% customer satisfaction.
 

About: Nick played college football at University of Wisconsin – Stout. He has been in the remodeling/enhancement industry for over 20 years. He is married with two kids and two cats. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family, playing guitar, and fishing.

Favorite part of the job: seeing the client’s happy face at the end for the enhancement.

Jeff – Customer Support Manager

Responsibilities: Understand the client’s vision, provide a written estimate, and ensure the work is completed with 100% customer satisfaction.

About: Jeff was an underwater welder in the US Navy. He has been in the remodeling industry for 15 years. In his spare time, he enjoys working on old vehicles.

Favorite part of the job: meeting new people.

Favorite tool: actuated hammer tool.

 

Daryl – CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER

Responsibilities: Understand the client’s vision, provide a written estimate, and ensure the work is completed with 100% customer satisfaction.

About: Daryl served in the US Navy and the Army. He has maintained ships at sea and even worked on one of Saddam Hussien’s palaces. He is a father and enjoys the outdoors.

Favorite part of the job: catching issues before they become expensive fixes.

Favorite tool: anything with power

Chad p

Chad P. – Team Lead

Responsibilities: overseeing multi-enhancer jobs, training, and on-site client satisfaction.

About: Chad grew up in Douglas County.  His background spans from framing to finishing homes.  The part of the job he most enjoys is solving challenges.  When not enhancing, Chad enjoys snowboarding and dirt biking.

Favorite part of the job: see the client’s delight at the finished enhancement.

Favorite tool: chop saw.

Blakea

Blake – Enhancer

Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About: Blake is a Colorado native with over 30 years in the construction business.  He is married with two children, a Pug dog, and a Husky dog.  While not working, he enjoys snowboarding and competitive golfing (single handicap).  

Favorite part of the job: creating a look or feel that the client envisioned.

Justin1

Justin – Enhancer

Responsibilities:  enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About:  Justin has over thirteen years of construction and remodeling experience.  Having grown up in Quincy, MA, Justin and his wife now live in Douglas County with their two boys and two dogs.  When not at work, his passion is playing pool.

Favorite part of the job:  seeing the completed project.

Favorite tool:  skill saw

Adan1

Adan – Enhancer

Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About: A native of Denver, Adan has been remodeling since he was a kid, working for his dad. Even when he is not at work, he is remodeling his own home with his Chihuahua, Paco.

Favorite part of the job: watching and participating in the transformation.

Favorite tool: drywall mud knife.

Kyle2

KYLE – ENHANCER

Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About: Kyle grew up in Michigan until he heard the mountains calling. He played quarterback at Northwood University.  When not working, he tends to the 90 animals on his ranch.  

Favorite part of the job: satisfying clients.

Favorite tool: hammer.

Matt Sb

MATT – ENHANCER

Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About: Matt grew up as a son of a tradesman.  He has been doing remodeling for over eleven years.  He enjoys mountain biking and hiking with his wife and daughter. 

Favorite part of the job: the satisfaction of seeing the end result.

Favorite tool: paint brush

JEREMIAH – ENHANCER

Responsibilities: enhancing homes and client satisfaction.

About: Jeremiah has been in construction and remodeling for over twenty years.  He and his wife have two dogs and two cats. On most weekends, he can be found racing and painting radio-controlled cars.

Favorite part of the job: when the project comes to a beautiful fruition.

Favorite tool: air brush

Abby

Abby – Office Manager

Responsibilities:  handling company administrative tasks.

About:  Abby is a registered nurse with experience in the Emergency Department.  She is mother of two.  When not working, she is a voracious reader, international traveler, and avid hiker.

Favorite part of the job:  supporting our clients by keeping the back office running smoothly.

Favorite tool:  text messaging.
